FAQ

Who is the fastest player in NHL 27?

Among players with the Wheels speed X-Factor, the highest overall rating belongs to Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers) at 99.

What does the Wheels X-Factor do?

Higher top speed and better acceleration, so the player can skate past defenders. Agility at speed comes from a different X-Factor, Elite Edges.

Is Quick Release about speed?

No. Quick Release speeds up the shot, not the skating. Speed comes from Wheels, and sharp turns at speed come from Elite Edges.

How often is this ranking updated?

The data comes from the official EA SPORTS NHL 27 ratings, and we check the EA site every day. When EA updates rosters (usually every week or two), this page updates by itself.
