FAQ
What is an NHL 27 online franchise?
It is a league where every member has their own NHL club for the whole season: scheduled games, standings and playoffs. In the game itself this mode is called Connected Franchise and you have to create and run it yourself. On ICERANK the league is already set up: take a free club and play real opponents.
How do I join an NHL 27 online franchise?
Sign up on ICERANK (nickname, PSN ID and Telegram), open the season club list and take any free club. It stays yours until the season ends, and your schedule appears under “My calendar”.
Can I join if the season has already started?
Yes. While the season has free clubs, you can take one at any point of the regular season and play your club's remaining games right away.
How much does it cost?
Joining is free. Online games on PS5 require PlayStation Plus — that is a console requirement, not a league one.
What happens if I stop playing?
The league never stalls because of one player: inactive players get reminders, and after 10 days without games the club is freed for a new member. So there is always someone to play.
Are there trades, a draft and salaries like in Connected Franchise?
No. ICERANK is about the games: rosters are as in the game, with no management or trades. But there is no AI either — every season game is against a real person.
